Agriculture module 

Agriculture instructors are teaching agriculture module. This day start with recap by fellows, after that we discussed with sustainable agriculture like sustainable agriculture is that kind of agriculture which deals with the conservation, development, and proper utilization of natural recourses to meet the present and future needs. This definition of the sustainable agriculture, After that we discussed natural resources like soil, water, and biodiversity, and climate , one main important thing was biodiversity includes plants, animals, microbes, in India more than 2000 verity of the species in paddy crops.

Five operations of the sustainable agriculture

·         Improving soil fertility /health

·         Improving cropping pattern

·         Environmental support- Biomass production

·         Income generation activity

This is the main things to five key components of the sustainable agriculture.

Farmer field school is a discovery learning method, where group of farmers are empowered to solve their field problems by participation, interactions, joint decision making and self confidence. FFS is a season long process, and it is school without wall

FFS objectives

·         Empower farmers with knowledge, skills to make them export in their own field.

·         To sharpen activity to make critical informed decisions to make farming profitable

·         Sensitize farming new ways of thinking and problem solving

·         To help the farmers learn how to organize themselves and their communities for collective action
